Guatemala

So, I went to another country at long last. I went to do murals with a team of artist in Guatemala for two weeks. A very rewarding experience in short. I learned a lot about culture, art and myself.

I went with an organization called OM. (Check them out at: http://www.om.org/)  They use the arts to do mission trips. If you have a love for God, travel, and art, I strongly recommend OM!

Here are some images of the murals my team and I did while in Guatemala.

I officially hate lettering work now

I will have to post again in more detail when I can put the full experience into proper words. But it was a real blessing!

My awesome team. Not only did I experience the Guatemalan culture, we had two international team members!

"Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

This verse was a deciding factor in a sermon at church weeks before I decided to go on this trip - I saw it again at a missionary house wall while in Guatemala. :)
